No shocking result in a game in Caracas where fourth rankedHeroes (7-4) defeated 9th ranked Diablos (3-11) 100-94 on Sunday. Heroes made 36-of-42 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for naturalized Colombian Luis Almanza (196-1991) who led his team to a victory scoring 31 points and 4 assists. American Andre Nation (196-1993, college: JMU) helped adding 23 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Heroes' coach Ivan Garcia used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side American-Argentinian guard Romeao Ferguson (196-1997, college: Lipscomb) responded with 27 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and American-Dominican center Justin Satchell (203-1995, college: St.Leo) scored 17 points. Heroes moved-up to third place. Diablos lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 11 games lost.
