Seventh rankedCorinthians (9-11) crushed at home 10th ranked Ponta Grossa (3-17) by 21 points 100-79 , which is the biggest margin this round on Friday night. Corinthians dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Ponta Grossa 's 30. They outrebounded Ponta Grossa 36-19 including a 31-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Corinthians looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Newly promoted Corinthians maintains seventh place with 9-11 record. Ponta Grossa lost their fifth game in a row. Ponta Grossa at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the bottom position with 17 games lost. They share it with Catanduva.
