No shocking result in a game when fifth rankedToros (11-15) crushed 8th ranked Corsarios (7-20) in Cali 100-79 on Thursday. Toros Del Valle forced 20 Corsarios turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The winners were led by American-Puerto Rican guard Brian Vazquez (190-1994) who scored that evening 25 points, 8 assists and 4 steals and the former international forward Leyder Moreno (195-2000) supported him with 23 points. Toros' coach felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 17 points and 6 rebounds by American swingman RJ Gunn (201-1999, college: Duquesne, agency: Players Group) did not help to save the game for Corsarios . His fellow American import JD Weatherspoon (198-1992, college: Toledo) added 19 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Five Toros Del Valle and four Corsarios players scored in double figures. Toros Del Valle maintains fifth position with 11-15 record. Corsarios lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh place with 20 games lost.
