Very expected game when 12th rankedLagomar (2-3) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Colon (4-2) 96-81 on Tuesday. Colon made 23-of-27 free shots (85.2 percent) during the game, while Lagomar only scored seven points from the stripe. Colon looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for forward Gianfranco Espindola (196-1999) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Guillermo Curbelo (187-2001) helped adding 25 points. At the losing side forward Federico Haller (200-1988) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds and forward Santiago Moglia (196-1989) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Five Colon and four Lagomar players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Colon have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with U.Atletica. Lagomar lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with three games lost. They share it with Verdirrojo.
