There was no surprise in Santiago whereMetros (3-5) were defeated by Caneros (3-3) 102-89 on Tuesday. Caneros looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a great evening for Yeison Colome (190-1996, agency: BMS Sport Agency) who led his team to a victory scoring 36 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Raimer Santana (183-1997, agency: BMS Sport Agency) helped adding 23 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Caneros players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American guard Kyler Edwards (193-1999, college: Houston) with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import forward Jeremiah Tilmon Jr (208-1998, college: Missouri) scored 19 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
