Liga Wplay top team -Storm (22-6) had no problems winning another game on Monday. This time they crushed seventh ranked Cimarrones (7-21) in Quibdo-Choco 93-72 . Carrib.Storm dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Cimarrones ' 34. They outrebounded Cimarrones 35-23 including a 26-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Carrib.Storm especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. The former international guard Romario Roque (175-1998) notched 21 points and 7 assists to lead the effort and Miguel Gomez supported him with 12 points and 5 assists. Four Storm players scored in double figures. Even 17 points and 4 assists by American guard Delano Spencer (193-1994, college: Tennessee St., agency: 011 Sports) did not help to save the game for Cimarrones . His fellow American import guard Alante Fenner (196-1993, college: SSU) added 12 points for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Storm have a solid four-game winning streak. Carrib.Storm maintains first position with 22-6 record. Cimarrones lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom place with 21 games lost.
