Not a big story in a game when 12th rankedVerdirrojo (3-7) was outscored on the road by sixth ranked Colon (6-5) 77-58 on Saturday. Colon forced 19 Verdirrojo turnovers. Center Theo Metzger (200-1999) nailed 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and forward Gianfranco Espindola (196-1999) accounted for 13 points and 6 rebounds. American forward Randy Rickards (201-2000, college: WILMU) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 17 rebounds and the other American import guard Taalib Holloman (193, college: WILMU) added 9 points respectively for Verdirrojo in the defeat.
