Rather expected game in Caracas where 9th ranked Toros (3-19) were defeated by sixth ranked Brillantes (12-11) 75-63 on Saturday. Brillantes dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Toros' 34. The best player for the winners was American forward Marquez Letcher-Ellis (203-1997, college: Nevada) who scored 19 points and 9 rebounds. The other American import guard James Reese V (193-1998, college: S.Carolina) chipped in 17 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Brillantes players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Elijah Tillman (203-1994, college: GBC) who recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Angel Blanco (179-1997) added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Brillantes maintains sixth position with 12-11 record. Toros lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 19 games lost.
