Regular Season Round 4: Soles - Halc.Rojos 83-81

Soles can celebrate their first win this season after two consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as they edged much higher ranked Halcones Rojos (0-1) 83-81 . Soles brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of Erik McCree (202-1993, college: La Tech) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Jordan Swing (198-1990, college: UAB) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Point guard Justin Dentmon (183-1985, college: Washington, agency: Slash Sports) replied with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Kenneth Horton (201-1989, college: CCSU, agency: Octagon Europe) added 13 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Halc.Rojos. Four Soles and five Halc.Rojos players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Soles (1-2) left bottom position moving up to ninth place, which they share with Mineros. Halc.Rojos at the other side still closes the standings with one game lost. They share the position with Halc.Xalapa.
