The most exciting game of round 13 in the Metropolitan took place in Montevideo. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of much higher rankedU.Atletica (10-3) to fourteenth ranked L.Borges (5-8) 68-66 on Tuesday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the home team. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of U.Atletica. Brazilian center Sergio Conceicao (209-2000) fired 21 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 blocks for the winners. Fernando Verrone (201-1988) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. Four L.Borges players scored in double figures. Argentinian point guard Sebastian Alvarez (185-1989) produced 17 points and 4 assists and center Agustin Cabillon (198-1995) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. L.Borges moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Bohemios and Sayago. U.Atletica at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost.
