Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Montevideo:Olimpia (#1) and Capitol (#5). Olimpia (12-2) smashed visiting Capitol (7-6) by 41 points 109-68 . Olimpia outrebounded Capitol 51-30 including a 37-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Olimpia players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Capitol 's players. DNicolas Delgado (198-1987) had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Stan Scott (193-1998, college: MSSU) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Forward Santiago Tucuna (197-2002) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Claudio Bascou (185-1989) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Four Capitol players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Olimpia have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 12-2 record. Capitol lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with six games lost. They share the position with Stockolmo.
