The game in Matagalpa supposed to be also quite interesting. Sixth rankedTigres (3-6) played at the court of 8th ranked Indigenas (1-9). Tigres smashed Indigenas 108-81 on Sunday. Tigres dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Indigenas ' 46. They outrebounded Indigenas 47-30 including 30 on the offensive glass. Tigres looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The winners were led by American forward Jarret Branch (203-1997, college: Simpson, CA) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 19 points and 20 rebounds and Puerto Rican guard Ezequiel Colon (187-1999, college: Lehman) supported him with 26 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Four Tigres players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 32 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals by American guard Dean Tylan (185-1999, college: Rogers St.) did not help to save the game for Indigenas . His fellow American import guard Chris Moten-Jackson (190-1989, college: LA Pierce JC) added 25 points and 4 assists for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tigres maintains sixth position with 3-6 record. Indigenas lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom place with nine games lost.
