Regular Season Round 15: Plateros - Halc.Rojos 85-82

Very predictable result when tenth rankedPlateros (6-6) edged 15th ranked Halcones Rojos (2-8) in Fresnillo 85-82 on Friday. However just three-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Plateros looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. American players dominated also this game. It was an exceptional evening for power forward Kwame Alexander (201-1990, college: CSUSB, agency: BIG) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds. Guard Christian Harvey (185, college: Marian, IN) accounted for 17 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Point guard Justin Dentmon (183-1985, college: Washington, agency: Slash Sports) came up with 23 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and power forward Javion Ogunyemi (206-1995, college: Siena) added 14 points and 11 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) respectively for Halc.Rojos in the defeat. Four Halc.Rojos players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Plateros moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Santos and Dorados. Loser Halcones Rojos dropped to the fourteenth position with eight games lost. They share it with Freseras.
