LSB top team -Jaguares (10-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked UNI Basket (2-12) in Managua 110-52 . Jaguares dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to UNI Basket 's 22. Jaguares forced 21 UNI Basket turnovers and outrebounded them 52-25 including a 39-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. Jaguares players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by UNI Basket 's players. It was a great evening for international Kevin Andino (186-2002) who led his team to a victory with a triple-double by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists. Forward Herman Mullins (-2003) helped adding 14 points and 10 rebounds. Four Jaguares players scored in double figures. Forward Angel Alvarado (196-2004) responded with 14 points and 7 rebounds and guard Kenny Avalos (-2000) scored 10 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Jaguares maintains first place with 10-1 record. UNI Basket lost twelfth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost.
