UndefeatedPollitas (1-1) recorded its first loss in San German. Visitors were rolled over by sixth ranked Athleticas (2-2) 99-80 . San German players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Akilah Bethel (183-1993, college: LSU) who helped to win the game recording 30 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Power forward Sidney Cooks (193-1998, college: Seton Hall) contributed with 26 points for the winners. Swingman Naomi Davenport (180, college: WVU) replied with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Ariana Moorer (172-1991, college: Virginia) added 14 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Isabela. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. San German moved-up to fourth place. Isabela at the other side dropped to the fifth position with one game lost. They share it with Hatillo.
