Very expected game when 9th rankedSantos (8-9) lost to fifth ranked Panteras (11-6) in San Luis Potosi 72-90 on Thursday. American guard Justin Bibbs (196-1996, college: Virginia Tech) notched 19 points to lead the effort and the other American import point guard Jaron Martin (178-1995, college: UC Irvine) supported him with 13 points and 8 assists. Four Panteras players scored in double figures. Even 15 points and 9 rebounds by American center Kevin Allen (211-1994, college: Emporia St., agency: BIG) did not help to save the game for Santos . American-Puerto Rican point guard Tjader Fernandez (178-1994) added 14 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Panteras have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Santos lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with nine games lost. They share it with Soles.
