Very expected game in Managua where bottom-rankedUNI (0-12) was crushed by first ranked Tipitapa (11-2) 118-38 on Sunday. Tipitapa dominated down low during the game scoring 88 of its points in the paint compared to UNI 's 26. Tipitapa forced 49 UNI turnovers and outrebounded them 46-29 including a 28-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Tipitapa looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 1 passes made by UNI 's players. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Shannen Peralta (-2003) who scored 30 points and 8 rebounds. Tipitapa's coach felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
