The game between closely ranked teams ended with 9th rankedSanta Tecla 's (2-13) road loss to eighth ranked Santa Ana (4-9) 80-118 on Wednesday. Santa Ana looked well-organized offensively handing out 37 assists. His fellow American import forward Sam Dorissaint (198-1994, college: B&S Buffalo) helped adding 26 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Dorissaint is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The best for the losing side was Honduran Francisco Forbs (198-1999) with 20 points and 8 rebounds and forward Alejandro Barahona (189-1999) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. Four Santa Ana and five Santa Tecla players scored in double figures. Santa Tecla's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Santa Ana maintains eighth place with 4-9 record. Santa Tecla lost their eighth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 13 games lost.
