There was no surprise when 9th rankedSanta Tecla (2-16) was crushed at home by seventh ranked Salvadorenos (8-10) 93-66 on Saturday. Salvadorenos dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Santa Tecla 's 24. Salvadorenos forced 22 Santa Tecla turnovers. Forward Marcos Menjivar (190-2004) scored 25 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Alfonso Tobar (191-2007) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds during the contest.
