Vivo/Franca dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Corinthians' 28. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for international forward Lucas Silva (208-95) who led the winners and scored 26 points and 8 rebounds. The former international point guard Ricardo Fischer (183-91) came up with 20 points and 9 assists and American guard Malcolm Miller (201-91, college: Southern) added 23 points and 8 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) respectively for Corinthians in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Vivo/Franca moved-up to sixth place. Corinthians at the other side dropped to the tenth position with seven games lost.
