An interesting game for Brazilian Vivo/Franca who played in Buenos Aires against Argentinian Obras. Vivo/Franca managed to get a 5-point victory 93-88. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Vivo/Franca made 20-of-25 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. American point guard Jamaal Smith (176-85, college: N.Mexico) scored 25 points to lead the charge for the winners and forward Lucas Silva (208-95) chipped in 19 points and 4 assists during the contest. Point guard Fernando Zurbriggen (185-97, agency: Duran International) responded with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and Luca Valussi (195-98) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Five Vivo/Franca and four Obras players scored in double figures. Obras' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Vivo/Franca will play against San Lorenzo in Almagra in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Obras will have a break next round.
