No shocking result in a game in Villa Maria where fourth ranked Ameghino (6-2) defeated 13th ranked Colon SF (2-7) 91-81 on Monday. Ameghino dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Colon SF's 34. They outrebounded Colon SF 33-22 including 26 on the defensive glass. Ameghino looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Forward Abel Aristimuno (195-91, agency: BIG) fired 17 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Power forward Juan Luis Abeiro (200-88) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Ameghino's coach Pablo Castro used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Tomas Gutierrez (187-99) produced 20 points and 6 assists and point guard Ignacio Fernandez (181-89, agency: BIG) added 15 points respectively for lost side.
