Regular Season Round 3: Aguada - Trouville 95-93

A very close game took place in Montevideo (derby !!!) between Aguada and Trouville. Aguada (1-2) got a very close home victory over Trouville (0-3). Aguada managed to escape with a 2-point win 95-93 on Friday evening. Aguada made 25-of-31 free shots (80.6 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Trouville turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for naturalized Italian Leandro Morales (186-80, college: Texas A&M, agency: Pro Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 34 points (!!!) and 5 steals. American forward Dwayne Davis (196-89, college: Southern Miss) helped adding 13 points and 6 assists. The best for the losing side was Italian-Argentinian center Damian Tintorelli (205-81) with 28 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and point guard Federico Soto (195-97) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Trouville's coach German Fernandez tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
