Regular Season Round 7: Broncos - Llaneros 85-77

Very expected game when 7th ranked Llaneros (2-4) lost to third ranked Broncos (4-2) in Caracas 77-85 on Friday. Broncos forced 20 Llaneros turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Quite impressive performance for international point guard Garly Sojo (196-99) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals. Naturalized Colombian Hector Diaz (192-92) contributed with 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Broncos players scored in double figures. Graddy Osorio (193-87) answered with 9 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and point guard Leonardo Cappare (185-80) added 18 points in the effort for Llaneros. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Broncos maintains third place with 4-2 record having just two points less than leader Spartans, which they share with Diablos. Loser Llaneros dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. Broncos' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Caracas Gladiadores.
