Semi-Finals Game 3: Toros - Dorados 116-122

Dorados beat Toros on the road to sweep the semifinal series. Dorados dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Toros' 40 and made 27-of-31 charity shots (87.1 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Toros 45-26 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Dorados players were unselfish on offense dishing 36 assists. It was a great evening for Puerto Rican Gilberto Clavell (200-89, college: SHSU) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). American center Eric Dawson (206-84, college: Midwestern St., agency: Interperformances) helped adding 15 points and 17 rebounds. Dawson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Dorados' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was international Omar De Haro (188-95) with 34 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 5 assists and naturalized Argentinian point guard Cristian Cortez (185-90, agency: Best of You Sports) scored 18 points and 5 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures.
