Regular Season Round 10: Hebraica - Olimpia 99-106

LUB top team - Olimpia (7-2) added another victory to their record on Sunday. This time they beat tenth ranked Hebraica (2-7) in Montevideo 106-99. Olimpia made 25-of-30 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. American guard Skyler Hogan (196-97, college: SEMO) notched a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and point guard Brian Garcia (182-90) supported him with 24 points and 5 assists (made all of his eight free throws). Olimpia's coach Gerardo Jauri used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 26 points and 13 rebounds by Argentinian Lisandro Rasio (198-90) did not help to save the game for Hebraica. Italian-Argentinian swingman Federico Marin (199-82) added 23 points for lost side. Five Olimpia and four Hebraica players scored in double figures. Olimpia maintains first position with 7-2 record. Hebraica lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom place with seven games lost. They share the position with Goes. Olimpia's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena .
