CPN earned the second straight victory in the championship series. CPN outrebounded Cupes 41-26 including 26 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. CPN looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American forward Tony Mitchell (203-92, college: N.Texas) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). The other American import Ramon Galloway (190-91, college: La Salle) contributed with 24 points and 7 assists for the winners. Forward Juan Miguel Suero (196-93) replied with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 assists and center Luis Santos (203-94, college: St.Louis) added 19 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Cupes. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Cupes' coach Patrick Alfonso rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
