Quimsa upset Boca on the road to sweep the semifinal series. It was a great shooting night for Quimsa especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. American Brandon Robinson (196-89, college: Clayton St.) scored 26 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Cuban center Ismael Romero (203-91, agency: Paris Global Sports) chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Quimsa's coach Sebastian Gonzalez used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bahamas forward Tavario Miller (203-94, college: Texas A&M) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and the former international forward Federico Aguerre (203-88) scored 15 points. Five Boca Juniors players scored in double figures.
