Finals Game 3: Cupes - CPN 84-110

CPN celebrated Santiago League title. They fired past Cupes on the road to complete the sweep of the Finals. The game was mostly controlled by CPN. Cupes managed to win fourth quarter 27-25. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Cupes' 50. They outrebounded Cupes 46-34 including a 30-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. CPN looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a good game for American Ramon Galloway (190-91, college: La Salle) who led his team to a victory with 37 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Victor Liz (193-86) contributed with 24 points for the winners. Four CPN players scored in double figures. Forward Juan Miguel Suero (196-93) answered with 14 points and 7 rebounds and American-Puerto Rican forward Emmanuel Andujar (198-93, college: Manhattan) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Cupes. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
