Regular Season Round 15: Trotamundos - Condores 71-64

There was no surprise in La Asuncion where 9th ranked Condores (1-11) were defeated by third ranked Trotamundos (10-4) 71-64 on Monday. Trotamundos outrebounded Condores 47-30 including 33 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was international power forward Fernando Fuenmayor (201-0) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Power forward Carlos Milano (198-85) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was guard Kervin Perez (191-97) who recorded 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Colombian forward Miguel Fernandez (194-92) added 15 points respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Trotamundos moved-up to second place. Condores lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 11 games lost. Trotamundos will face Cangrejeros (#8) in Maturin in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Condores' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Margarita Supersonicos.
