The game between Top Four teams took place in Saltillo. Third ranked host Racers (7-7) smashed second-ranked Mexcaltecas (7-7) 83-48. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Mexcaltecas. Racers forced 32 Mexcaltecas turnovers. Nicole Millender notched 25 points and 5 assists to lead the effort and Charisse Burruel supported her with 17 points. Even 13 points and 7 rebounds by Colombian center Narlyn Mosquera (197-89) did not help to save the game for Mexcaltecas. Sofia Payan (167-0) added 9 points for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Racers moved-up to second place, which they share with Mexcaltecas and Escaramuzas. Racers will play against Algodoneras (#5) in Torreon in the next round. Mexcaltecas will play at home against Barreteras and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
