Regular Season Round 3: San Lazaro - Mauricio Baez 77-84

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of San Lazaro (3-1) at the home court on Friday night. Hosts were defeated by Mauricio Baez (4-0) 84-77. 25 personal fouls committed by San Lazaro helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for naturalized American guard Gerardo Suero (196-89, college: Albany, agency: BIG) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds. Forward Juan Miguel Suero (196-93) helped adding 18 points and 5 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American-Puerto Rican swingman Justin Reyes (193-95, college: STAC) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and naturalized Spanish Orlando Sanchez (206-88, college: St.John's) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Four San Lazaro players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
