Sao Paulo nipped Minas at home court and completed the sweep of the semifinal series. The best player for the winners was American guard Cordero Bennett (185-88) who scored 26 points and 6 assists. The former international point guard Georginho de Paula (197-96) chipped in 14 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard David Jackson (190-82, college: Penn St.) who recorded 15 points and 9 rebounds and Uruguayan guard Luciano Parodi (189-94) added 15 points and 5 assists respectively. Minas' coach Leonardo Costa rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
