Titanes knocked down Bucaros to advance into the next round. Titanes forced 19 Bucaros turnovers and outrebounded them 42-31 including 28 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Dominican-Puerto Rican forward Jonathan Rodriguez (196-87, college: Campbell) scored 27 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Argentinian forward Selem Safar (191-87) chipped in 20 points and 4 assists during the contest. Four Titanes players scored in double figures. American center Anthony McClain (211-88, college: Cincinnati) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds and Nigerian-Jamaican swingman Weyinmi Rose (196-86, college: Providence) scored 16 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
