Motilones beat Hurricanes to sweep the series. Motilones made 19-of-22 charity shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American center Jovonni Shuler (198-87, college: SSU) notched 24 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and the former international forward Soren De Luque (196-98) supported him with 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Shuler is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Motilones players scored in double figures. Even 34 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds by American power forward Anthony Young (200-89, college: KWC) did not help to save the game for Hurricanes.
