Semi-Finals Game 2: Guaiqueries - Gigantes 108-76

Guaiqueries toppled Gigantes to draw things even. Guaiqueries dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Gigantes' 28. They outrebounded Gigantes 46-21 including a 19-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Guaiqueries players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The former international forward Michael Carrera (196-93, college: S.Carolina, agency: Interperformances) scored 20 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and the former international power forward Francisco Centeno (203-85) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Guaiqueries players scored in double figures. Forward Albert Arias (194-89) responded with 13 points and swingman Luis Duarte (190-94) scored 10 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
