Capitol edged Olimpia to even the series at 1-1. Capitol dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Olimpia's 36 and made 17-of-18 free shots (94.4 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Olimpia 43-32 including a 34-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Capitol made 8 blocks. American guard Davaunta Thomas (196-95, college: UAFS) had a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import center Paul Harrison (204-89, college: NGU) chipped in 14 points, 13 rebounds and 7 blocks during the contest. Thomas is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Capitol players scored in double figures.
