Flamengo clinched NBB title. They outgunned Sao Paulo on the road in Game 3 to sweep the championship series. The game without a history. Flamengo led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Marquinhos Vieira (207-84) who scored 17 points and 5 assists. The former international forward Olivinha Rodriguez (202-83) chipped in 18 points. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international point guard Georginho de Paula (197-96) who recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 9 assists and the former international power forward Lucas Mariano (208-93) added 22 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Four Flamengo and five Sao Paulo players scored in double figures.
