Trotamundos fired past Broncos to enter the championship series. The former international point guard David Cubillan (181-87, college: Marquette, agency: Duran International) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points and 5 assists. Naturalized American Donta Smith (201-83, college: SE Illinois JC) contributed with 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Five Trotamundos players scored in double figures. International point guard Garly Sojo (196-99) answered with 10 points and 7 rebounds and the former international center Luis Julio (201-80) added 11 points in the effort for Broncos. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
