Lobas fired past Quetzales to sweep the series. Lobas dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Quetzales' 28. Lobas forced 23 Quetzales turnovers and outrebounded them 45-22 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Quetzales' players. The best player for the winners was the former international Sandra Sanchez (175-90) who scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Puerto Rican Andrea Medina (169-92) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. Four Lobas players scored in double figures. Lobas' coach felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cuban center Clenia Noblet (190-87) produced 23 points and 7 rebounds and Diana Escamilla added 16 points and 4 steals respectively for the guests.
