Semi-Finals Game 2: Bigua - Olimpia 88-71

Bigua fired past Olimpia to secure the second straight victory. Bigua looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American guard Donald Sims (190-87, college: App State, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 30 points and 6 assists (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized Brazilian center Hatila Passos (211-85, college: NM State) chipped in 12 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. Four Bigua players scored in double figures. Bigua's coach Hernan Laginestra used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Marvin Phillips (201-83, college: Claflin) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Skyler Hogan (196-97, college: SEMO) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds.
