An interesting game for Villa S.Martin (16-8) which played road game in Cordoba against 4th placed Barrio Parque (16-7). Second ranked Villa S.Martin managed to get a 5-point victory 77-72. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Villa S.Martin made 7 blocks. It was a very good performance for guard Franco Vieta (194-92) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Brazilian Guilherme Teichmann (204-83, college: Tulsa) contributed with 9 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Despite that victory Villa S.Martin went down to third position due to points difference, which they share with Union SF. Loser Barrio Parque dropped to the second place with seven games lost. Villa S.Martin will face San Isidro (#14) in San Francisco in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Barrio Parque will play on the road against Independiente (#15) in Santiago del Estero and hope to win that game.
