Regular Season Round 2: Guayama - San German 91-72

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Atleticos in Guayama on Wednesday night. Visitors were rolled over by Brujos 91-72. Brujos looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American players dominated the game. Swingman Kyle Gibson (196-87, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: Slash Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points and 5 rebounds. Power forward Ben McCauley (206-86, college: NC State) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Brujos players scored in double figures. Paris Bass (203-95, college: Detroit) replied with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds and guard Gabriel Belardo (188-89, college: FIU) added 21 points in the effort for Atleticos. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Brujos is looking forward to face Piratas in Quebradillas in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Atleticos will play on the road against Cariduros in Fajardo and are hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
