Regular Season Round 3: Quebradillas - Guayama 70-77

The game between Top Four teams took place in Quebradillas. host Piratas (1-2) lost to Brujos (3-1) 77-70. Piratas were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for American power forward Ben McCauley (206-86, college: NC State) who led the winners and scored 32 points. International swingman Alex Franklin (198-88, college: Siena) accounted for 6 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. American forward Will Daniels (202-86, college: URI) came up with 12 points and 8 rebounds and the former international Michael Rosario (190-90, college: Florida) added 15 points respectively for Piratas in the defeat. Piratas' coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Brujos will play against Indios in Mayaguez in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Piratas will play at home against Leones and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
