Regular Season Round 2: Caneros - Indios 67-66

Seventh-ranked Indios gave a tough game to Caneros in La Romana on Tuesday. Caneros managed to secure only one-point victory 67-66. However their fans expected much easier game. Jaison Colome (190-96) scored 26 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized Spanish center Jhonatan Araujo (208-96) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Naturalized Spanish forward Edward Santana (203-80) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and forward Juan Miguel Suero (196-93) scored 17 points and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Caneros are looking forward to face Huracanes in Puerto Plata in the next round. Indios will play on the road against Soles in Santo Domingo and are hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
