Important game to mention about took place in Santa Tecla. Sixth ranked Teclenas (8-3) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 5th ranked Quequeisque (7-4) 47-44 on Saturday evening. Teclenas forced 23 Quequeisque turnovers. Yashary Hernandez (170-99) nailed a double-double by scoring 11 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals for the winning side and Jocelyne Zambrana (169-93) accounted for 15 points and 6 rebounds. Teclenas' coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Point guard Daniela Alonso (160-1) came up with 17 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals and Fatima Manzanares (173-99) added 9 points and 14 rebounds respectively for Quequeisque in the defeat. The victory was the third consecutive win for Teclenas. They moved-up to fourth place. Quequeisque at the other side dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. They share it with Anfy. Teclenas will play against L.M.Mons. (#12) in Santa Ana in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Quequeisque will play against Se7en (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
