Very important is a road loss of Aguada against Lagomar on Sunday night. Visiting Aguada was crushed by Lagomar in 90-52. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Aguada's 28 and had 25 for 38 from the free-throw line, while Aguada only scored five points from the stripe. Lagomar forced 23 Aguada turnovers and outrebounded them 63-25 including a 21-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Point guard Victoria Pereyra (172-86) notched 29 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 8 steals to lead the effort and Argentinian forward Paula Reggiardo (183-84) supported her with 9 points, 19 rebounds and 7 assists. Even 17 points by swingman Analia Martinez (167-98) did not help to save the game for Aguada. Costa Rican Sofia Herrera added 11 points and 9 rebounds for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Lagomar will meet Remeros in the next round. Aguada will play against Malvin and hope to win that game.
