Important game to mention about took place in Quebradillas. Fourth ranked Indios (9-8) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging much higher ranked Piratas (9-5) 75-73 on Thursday evening. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Piratas. Indios players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was an exceptional evening for international swingman Justin Reyes (193-95, college: STAC) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds. American Brian Conklin (201-89, college: St.Louis) accounted for 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. International forward Luis Hernandez (206-88) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds and American forward Will Daniels (202-86, college: URI) added 18 points respectively for Piratas in the defeat. Piratas' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Indios moved-up to third place. Piratas at the other side keep the second position with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
