The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Leon (1-1) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were edged by fifth ranked Leones MGA (2-1) 70-69. Worth to mention a great performance of Brazilian center Andre Coimbra (205-86, college: CMU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds and American forward Chris Blake (195-88, college: Detroit) who added 24 points and 7 steals during the contest. At the losing side Cuban Oreste Torres (204-87) responded with 27 points and 9 rebounds and Cuban Yuniskel Molina (183-93) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Leon's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eighteen players in this game, but that didn't help. Leones MGA moved-up to fourth place. Leon at the other side dropped to the fifth position with one game lost. They share it with Rivas.
