No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Sayago (3-3) beat at home bottom-ranked Tabare (1-5) 78-74 on Monday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Sayago dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Tabare's 24 and made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Lithuanian center Zygimantas Riauka (206-93, college: UW-Parkside) notched a double-double by scoring 23 points and 22 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) to lead the effort and center Joaquin Jones (199-97) supported him with 12 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Even 14 points and 4 assists by point guard Leandro Taboada (180-86) did not help to save the game for Tabare. Argentinian center Ignacio Alessio (203-87) added 9 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sayago moved-up to sixth place, which they share with U.Atletica and Verdirrojo. Tabare lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with five games lost. They share it with Miramar.
